About Us:

At RCF Preschool, we are committed to providing a loving, faith-based environment where children can explore, learn, and grow in their relationship with God and one another. Our dedicated team strives to nurture each child's spiritual, emotional, and educational development. We are currently seeking caring and enthusiastic Substitute Teachers to join our team!

Position Overview:

As a Substitute Teacher, you will step into the classroom to provide support and continuity in the absence of our regular teachers. You will help deliver a Christ-centered curriculum and ensure a safe and engaging environment for our preschoolers. This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience and may lead to future classroom teaching roles for those interested!

Key Responsibilities:

Implement lesson plans and engage children in age-appropriate activities that incorporate biblical principles. Supervise and support children during playtime, meals, and rest periods, fostering a sense of community and kindness. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a positive experience. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as needed.

Qualifications:

Experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting is preferred. A heart for serving children and a passion for early childhood education rooted in Christian values. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt quickly and work collaboratively as part of a team. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to meet all NV State Childcare Licensing requirements, background check, negative TB test, and ongoing training is required.
