Duties Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development. Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles, including special education needs and early intervention strategies. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all children. Provide attentive toddler care and classroom supervision, maintaining high standards of childcare and child welfare. Utilize classroom management skills to organize activities that promote social skills, cooperation, and independence among students. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and specialists to support each child's unique educational journey and well-being. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques. Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, tutoring, and teaching physical education tailored for preschool-aged children. Familiarity with working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Proven classroom experience in daycare or private school settings with a focus on preschool education. Ability to implement Montessori methods or other innovative teaching approaches such as literacy education or math-focused activities.
