The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. As a Substitute Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in developing children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills through engaging activities and structured lesson plans. Responsibilities Follow age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards. Conduct daily lessons that promote learning through play, exploration, and hands-on activities. Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive and respectful atmosphere for all students. Foster strong relationships with children, encouraging their individual growth and development. Collaborate with fellow educators to create an inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of all students. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom space conducive to learning. Experience Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational or childcare setting is essential. Strong skills in behavior management and classroom management techniques. Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to early childhood education. Familiarity with Reggio Emilia methods is a plus but not required. Fingerprints, TB and CPR.
