In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can explore, learn, and develop essential skills. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will inspire curiosity and foster a love of learning in our toddlers. As a vital part of our community, you will implement age-appropriate curriculum, manage classroom activities, and communicate effectively with parents to support each child's growth journey. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy, social-emotional skills, and physical activity for toddlers Create a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence Manage daily routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and outdoor play to ensure the well-being of each child Use behavior management techniques to guide positive behavior and address challenges with patience and consistency Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings or written updates Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and classroom activities in compliance with licensing standards Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, classroom management strategies, and special education needs such as early intervention programs Qualifications Prior experience working with young children in a childcare or preschool setting is essential Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices TB Test & Background Check Ability to manage a classroom environment using positive behavior management techniques Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Demonstrated ability to plan lessons that incorporate math concepts and promote overall developmental milestones Join us in shaping the future by providing a joyful, supportive space where toddlers can thrive!
