We are looking for someone who truly enjoys working with toddlers, can be a team player, and is willing to jump in and help wherever needed. This position will primarily work in our 2 to 2.5-year-old classroom . Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Applicants must be available for the full 8:00 AM-5:00 PM shift. Requirements Must be comfortable changing diapers and assisting with potty training Must be able to lift 40+ pounds Must be dependable and arrive to scheduled shifts on time Must be comfortable getting down on the floor, bending, lifting, standing, and being active throughout the day Must be patient, kind, energetic, and able to maintain a positive classroom environment Must be willing to work as part of a team and help wherever needed Must be comfortable handling the busy and active needs of a toddler classroom Must be willing to follow all childcare licensing, safety, supervision, and center policies Responsibilities Provide a safe, loving, and engaging environment for children ages 2-2.5 Plan and participate in age-appropriate learning activities, art, sensory play, music, movement, and outdoor play Complete diaper changes and assist children with potty training Encourage language development, independence, sharing, and positive social skills Help children learn and follow daily classroom routines Maintain active supervision of children at all times Assist with meals, snacks, nap time, transitions, and daily care needs Keep the classroom clean, organized, and welcoming Communicate professionally with parents and coworkers Work closely with your co-teacher to make sure every child receives the care and attention they need Who We're Looking For We want someone who genuinely loves working with toddlers and understands that childcare takes patience, consistency, and teamwork!
