Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management techniques, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and any special education needs. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides to promote effective classroom management and teaching practices. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental progress and inform instructional strategies. Maintain detailed records of children's growth, attendance, and educational activities in compliance with childcare standards and privacy regulations. Skills Extensive experience in classroom management within early childhood or preschool settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, special education strategies, and early intervention techniques. Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education tailored for toddlers. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members. Ability to implement Montessori or similar educational philosophies that promote independence and curiosity. Skilled in behavior management techniques suitable for young children to foster positive social interactions. Familiarity with daycare regulations, child welfare policies, and classroom experience in private school or daycare environments.
