Requirements:

For Daycare Assistant Must be 18 years of age or older At least one year of child care experience References required Physical and TB test (must be obtained prior to employment) CPR and First Aid must be obtained with 3 months of employment Must have NYS fingerprinting completed 15 hours of free training required per year Skills The ability to communicate with adults, children and parents Self-starting-Creativity-Problem solving skills The ability to improvise Duties For daycare assistant required Direct care of children Maintaining a clean and safe environment Following program protocols and procedures Multitasking Providing children with an educational and supportive environment Training and diapering of infants Cleaning and sanitizing Flexible Hours willing to work with college schedule Full time also optional
