Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will lead the development and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate activities that foster growth, curiosity, and a love for learning among infants. Your leadership will ensure a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the earliest stages of childhood development while working alongside a dedicated team committed to excellence in childcare. Duties Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring they are stimulating, educational, and tailored to infants' developmental stages Supervise and support assistant teachers and caregivers to maintain high-quality care and classroom management Foster strong communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on children's progress and addressing concerns with professionalism and empathy Implement health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid, CPR, and mandated reporting laws, to ensure a secure environment for all children Plan and execute age-specific curriculum activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills development, and social-emotional growth Monitor individual children's needs, behaviors, and milestones to support personalized developmental plans Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, observations, and developmental assessments in compliance with licensing standards Requirements Proven experience working with infants in a daycare or preschool setting, with classroom management skills that inspire confidence and trust Knowledge of childhood development instruction, early childhood education principles, and best practices in infant care Certification in first aid, CPR (including pediatric first aid), and familiarity with mandated reporting laws required for childcare providers Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration Ability to work actively with children while demonstrating patience, creativity, and enthusiasm Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable Prior experience in daycare center or nannying roles that involved caregiving for infants is preferred Join us in shaping the earliest experiences of young learners!
