Job Description

KinderCare is seeking caring Teachers to join our Bohemia KinderCare center, supporting children's growth from early preschool through pre-K. In this role, you'll create safe, engaging classrooms, design age-appropriate learning experiences, and nurture each child's social, emotional, and cognitive development. You'll partner closely with families, collaborate with a supportive team, and participate in ongoing training. This position offers the chance to build a meaningful career in early childhood education while making a daily impact in children's lives. Responsibilities Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities aligned with early childhood standards Supervise children to ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment Communicate regularly with families about children's progress and daily experiences Support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and adherence to health and safety guidelines Collaborate with center staff to support center-wide programs and initiatives Document observations and progress to inform individualized learning support Participate in professional development and training offered by Kinder Care Required Skills Early childhood curriculum planning Classroom management for young children Child development and observation Lesson planning and activity design Health, safety, and sanitation practices in childcare Family and parent communication Behavior guidance and positive discipline Recordkeeping and documentation of child progress Collaboration with teaching teams Basic first aid and emergency response
