Duties Develop and implement innovative, age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth. Plan and execute daily lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods, early intervention strategies, and classroom management techniques to support diverse learning needs. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages positive behavior management and child welfare. Engage with children through activities tailored to their developmental stages, including toddler care, preschool experiences, and special education needs. Collaborate with families and caregivers to communicate progress, address concerns, and support ongoing child development initiatives. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods and maintain detailed records of each child's progress in areas such as literacy, numeracy (including math), and physical education. Manage classroom logistics effectively to ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a childcare or daycare setting. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare centers or private schools. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management tailored for preschoolers or toddlers. Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education including Montessori methods. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community partners. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and tutoring techniques for early learners. Proven ability to create engaging educational activities that support literacy education, physical education, and overall child welfare.
