Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture our youngest learners during their critical early childhood years. In this vital role, you will lead a dynamic classroom environment, fostering growth, curiosity, and independence among toddlers. Your expertise will help lay a strong foundation for their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. As a leader in early childhood education, you will collaborate with families and team members to create an engaging, safe, and supportive learning space that encourages exploration and joy. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, physical activity, and social skills aligned with early childhood education standards. Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a stimulating environment that supports toddler care and development. Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions with patience and professionalism. Utilize behavior management strategies to foster positive behavior and emotional regulation among young children. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to build strong partnerships. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols. Supervise assistant teachers or support staff to maintain high-quality classroom management and instructional standards. Skills Extensive experience working with children in early childhood settings, including toddler care and preschool environments. Strong knowledge of child development principles and curriculum development tailored for young learners. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and inclusive teaching practices. Proficiency in classroom management techniques that promote a positive learning atmosphere. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and Montessori methods if applicable. Knowledge of first aid procedures and CPR certification to ensure child safety at all times. Experience with standardized testing or assessments used in early childhood education settings. Skills in behavior management, child welfare practices, and classroom organization to foster a nurturing environment.
