Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and dependable Part-Time Preschool Gym Teacher to lead fun, age-appropriate physical education classes for children ages 2-5. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children and is passionate about promoting physical fitness, coordination, teamwork, and confidence through movement-based activities in a safe and engaging environment. Responsibilities Plan and lead creative, age-appropriate physical education classes for preschool-aged children. Teach fundamental motor skills, balance, coordination, and sports readiness through games and activities. Create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children during activities. Adapt lessons to meet the developmental needs and abilities of individual students. Set up and clean up gym equipment before and after classes. Communicate professionally with teachers, staff, and parents as needed. Maintain attendance records and report any concerns to school administration. Follow all school policies and health and safety guidelines. Qualifications Experience working with preschool-aged children in a school, daycare, recreation, or sports setting preferred. Background in Physical Education, Early Childhood Education, Recreation, Exercise Science, or a related field is preferred. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to engage young children through fun, interactive activities. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred. Ability to lift, carry, and move gym equipment and actively participate in physical activities. Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
