Job Description

We are seeking a responsible and energetic Group Leader to join our afterschool program. The Group Leader will be responsible for supervising and engaging students in a safe, structured, and fun environment. This role involves planning and leading activities, assisting with homework, and fostering a positive atmosphere for children's socials and emotional development. Responsibilities Supervise and engage children in various activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Implement effective classroom management techniques to maintain order and promote positive behavior. Provide first aid and support for children with special needs as required. Plan and facilitate educational and recreational programs, incorporating elements of early childhood education and behavior management. Collaborate with parents and staff to support children's development and learning goals. Qualifications Experience working with children in various settings, including childcare and camps Strong classroom management skills Certification in First Aid and CPR Background in special education or early childhood education Ability to implement behavior management strategies Experience in tutoring or coaching, particularly in sports or theater Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
