Lead Teacher - Kiddie Academy Farmingdale

Kiddie Academy of Farmingdale is looking for a Lead Teacher in various classrooms. (Infant, Toddler and Preschool) Lead Teacher . . . Individual MUST have an CDA / Associates/Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field to be a Lead Teacher. Year round Position. Immediate Start Monday

• Friday 8:30am
• 5pm / Paid Vacation/Sick Time/Holidays MUST have previous experience working with toddlers.

Must be a Team Player.

General Duties:

• Responsible for the welfare, health and safety of the children in your classroom
• Responsible for daily attendance records
• Potty Training
• Training and constructive utilization of assigned staff members
• Maintaining a clean and well organized classroom
• Providing the children with proper developmental activities
• Encouraging creative and constructive use of materials in classroom
• Uphold Center quality standards
• Follow all safety and health rules
• Keep the environment safe, clean and attractive.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
