Child Care Provider Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting children's development through respectful childcare practices, play-based learning, and attentive care. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development and the ability to foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes growth and well-being. Duties Supervise and monitor children to ensure their safety at all times. Engage children in play-based learning activities that support their physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Practice respectful childcare methods that promote children's independence and self-esteem. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment conducive to children's activities. Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary, following established safety protocols. Support children in developing social skills, positive interactions with peers, and emotional wellbeing. Qualifications Prior experience working in a group childcare environment is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific needs. Certification in First Aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain upon hire. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children, parents, and team members. Commitment to respectful child care practices that promote inclusivity and play-based learning. Ability to create a safe, nurturing environment that encourages growth through play.
