Job Description

Kuei Luck Early Childhood Center is a Reggio-inspired Mandarin Immersion Nursery & Preschool in New York City. We believe that early learning experiences profoundly impact a child's social, emotional, and intellectual development. Our student-led immersive language model is rooted in exploration, experimentation, and play. Introducing students to open-ended experiences early, we help create a foundation for complex problem solving for the rest of their lives. Our students are encouraged to explore learning through art, music, play, and nature. Our approach encourages young learners to deepen their knowledge of the most curious subjects. We are looking for motivated teachers who believe in Reggio-Emilia's philosophy. A teacher who can implement a student-centered and differentiated instruction classroom; work collaboratively, has excellent communication skills and is willing to work closely with families.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma and 5 years experience/Associates Degree in Early Childhood/Bachelors Degree or Study Plan in Early Childhood Education Maintain a nurturing and safe environment for children. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work and communicate with children, families, and colleagues. NYS certification (B-2 or N-6) a plus
Requirements:
Work Hours- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Lift 30 pounds Fingerprints from DOI, be willing to have background checked, Child Abuse Recognition Workshop, Infection Disease Workshop, and obtain a medical.
