GED First Aid Certification Early Childhood Education Full Job Description Key Responsibilities Classroom Support:

Help implement lesson plans, organize materials, and manage daily transitions and schedules set by the lead teacher.

Physical Care:

Assist toddlers with feeding, snack times, handwashing, diapering, or toilet training.

Supervision & Safety:

Monitor children closely indoors and on the playground to prevent injuries and ensure a secure environment.

Developmental Growth:

Guide children as they learn sharing, language development, basic self-help skills, and early play concepts.

Communication:

Share daily updates and observations with the lead teacher and assist in communicating progress with parents.

Qualifications & Requirements Education:

High school diploma minimum; often requires early childhood education (ECE) units .

Experience:

Prior experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children in a licensed childcare center.

Certifications:

Current Pediatric First Aid and CPR certifications.

Clearances:

Passing criminal background checks and fingerprinting.
