Overview Join our vibrant educational community as a Preschool Teacher, where your passion for early childhood education will inspire young learners to explore, discover, and grow. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development. Create engaging lesson plans that stimulate curiosity and encourage active participation among preschool students. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies to maintain a safe and respectful learning environment. Provide specialized support for children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services to ensure inclusive learning experiences. Foster strong communication with parents and guardians through regular updates on child welfare, classroom activities, and developmental milestones. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that promotes safety, childcare standards, and optimal learning conditions. Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom management and lesson planning. Knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and special education practices. Familiarity with curriculum development, literacy education, and Montessori methods Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers. Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior while fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; prior preschool experience is highly valued. Up to date required clearances for New york state. Pay:
$20,000.00 - $25,000.00 per year
