Job Description

Toddler Lead Teacher Niagara Falls Boys & Girls Club | Niagara Falls, NY Help toddlers learn how to be in the world. The Niagara Falls Boys & Girls Club is launching a new early childhood program—and we're looking for a Toddler Lead Teacher who understands that this stage is about guidance, consistency, and growth . Toddlers are learning how to communicate, regulate emotions, and interact with others. They need adults who are patient, structured, and steady.

  • consistency, follow-through, and teamwork What you'll do: Lead a toddler classroom with clear routines and structure Guide behavior using calm, consistent responses Support social-emotional development and early language skills Ensure active supervision and OCFS compliance Coach assistant teachers on expectations and classroom flow Build strong partnerships with families Who thrives in this role: ✔ Patient and calm under pressure ✔ Consistent and structured ✔ Comfortable setting limits with empathy ✔ Strong communicator with both children and adults ✔ Team-oriented and reliable
Qualifications:
Must meet OCFS Group Teacher requirements for Infant/Toddler care , including one of the following: Associate's degree in Early Childhood (or related field) + experience Infant/Toddler CDA or equivalent credential CDA + relevant experience Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Requirements:
2+ years experience working with toddlers or young children Ability to meet all NYS background clearances CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain within 30 days) MAT certification (within 60 days) Competitive pay + benefits Apply if you believe consistency, patience, and guidance help toddlers grow into confident learners.
