KinderCare is seeking Teachers for our Manhasset center to nurture and inspire young children through engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences. In this on-site role, you'll create a safe, inclusive classroom that supports each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. You will plan and implement curriculum, observe and document progress, and build strong, trusting relationships with families. Responsibilities Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans for preschool-aged children. Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment aligned with Kinder Care standards. Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through daily activities. Communicate regularly with families about children's progress and classroom events. Observe and document children's development to inform instruction and share insights with parents. Collaborate with center staff to plan curricula, events, and enrichment activities. Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and Kinder Care policies. Model inclusive, respectful behavior and support a diverse classroom community. Supervise children at all times, adhering to safety and ratio guidelines. Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
