This is a full time contract position. The Teacher is responsible for working with our principal and teacher colleagues to assist in establishing and maintaining an effective learning climate for the youngest learners in our school, where our mission and vision is both valued and upheld. A cover letter and resume is required for all candidates who are interested in securing a full-time teaching position with Rochester Christian School.

Qualifications:

Strong applicants for all teaching roles will possess the following: Belief in the importance of educating the whole child Unwavering commitment to Christian education Belief in and alignment with Rochester Christian School's core beliefs and educational philosophy, and a willingness to uphold the vision and mission of Rochester Christian School Mastery of and enthusiasm for relevant academic subjects Ability to creatively implement our curriculum and meet the State and National Standards outlined in our curricula Ability and desire to implement feedback from school leaders and colleagues to become a more effective educator in service to our students Valid NYS Certification and Master's degree are preferred Quality teaching experience/s at the early childhood or primary level preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must have received a Bachelor's degree from a college or university before employment begins Proficiency in Google programs and use of Smartboard technology preferred
