Supervisor Our Child Care Center Corporate Office Rochester, NY Job Details Full-time From $18 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications First aid and CPR Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Team Leader to oversee and support our early childhood education programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare, classroom experience, and early childhood development, with a passion for fostering a safe and nurturing environment for children. This leadership role involves guiding staff, implementing educational activities, and ensuring the well-being of children from infancy through preschool age. Duties Lead and supervise a team of childcare providers, ensuring high-quality care and educational standards are maintained Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and learning Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including administering first aid when necessary Support staff in behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address any concerns Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment conducive to learning and growth Assist with onboarding new staff members and provide ongoing training in childcare best practices Work directly with children, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, providing nurturing care such as feeding, diapering, and engaging in play-based learning Qualifications Experience working with children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Prior experience in classroom settings such as daycare or preschool environments Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and caregiving strategies Certification in first aid and CPR required or willingness to obtain upon hire Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, staff, and community partners Ability to lead by example with professionalism, patience, and enthusiasm for child development Join our team to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while fostering a positive, educational environment that supports growth and discovery.
