Role:

Join Imagination Childcare Academy, Inc. as a UPK Teacher and inspire young minds in a nurturing environment! We are seeking passionate educators who are dedicated to fostering creativity and a love for learning in our UPK students.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Assess and monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff. Utilize play-based learning techniques to enhance cognitive and social skills. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and curriculum. Maintain classroom organization and manage student behavior effectively. Participate in professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. New York State Teaching Certification for Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 2). At least 2 years experience in a preschool or early childhood setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a positive and engaging learning atmosphere. Commitment to continuous professional growth and development. CPR and First Aid certification is a plus. Passion for working with young children and fostering their development.
