Established full day nursery school in Roslyn, NY with ~ 50 years experience seeking a Lead Pre-K teacher for Immediate Hire!
Flexible Hour Options:
8:30-5:30pm or 9am-6pm

We're looking for an exceptional Full-Time Pre-K Lead Teacher to join our team and help shape the minds and hearts of our youngest learners. As our Pre-K Lead Teacher, you'll create a positive, stimulating classroom environment where children develop confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. We're seeking a dedicated professional who brings creativity, strong classroom leadership, and a genuine commitment to early childhood education.
What You'll Do:
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Build strong relationships with families through open communication Maintain classroom organization and state licensing standards Collaborate with fellow educators and school leadership
What We're Looking For:
Experience leading a Pre-K classroom Strong classroom management and communication skills Passion for early childhood education and child development Ability to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude
