Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated educators to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience working with children from infants to preschool and possess a passion for childcare. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives and contribute to their educational development. Duties
- Support the classroom in implementing daily activities, curriculum, health & safety protocols, OCFS daycare licensing regulations.
- Assist in behavior management and create a positive learning environment
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with teachers to plan and execute engaging educational activities
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Incorporate American Sign Language when necessary to facilitate communication Skills
- Experience working with students, particularly in early childcare.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of children and staff.
- Strong communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff
