The position entails you working mostly in a infant classroom (6 weeks of age to 12 months) for five weekdays, 40 hours per week. You would also be covering team planning in each classroom for an hour each day. You would need to be able to provide a developmentally appropriate experience to children in a safe and caring environment, maintain OCFS regulations, and communicate with parents on a daily basis. The shift is 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. •We offer an excellent benefit package to all employees which includes health and dental insurance. Salary is based on experience and education.
Qualifications:
Associates in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field and one year experience related to caring for infants/toddlers. OR Child Development Associate (CDA) AND two years experience caring for infants/toddlers. OR 9 College credits in Early Child Development or a related field AND two years experience caring with children one of which must be related to infants/toddlers. •Must be willing to have a background check including fingerprinting and health assessment per OCFS regulations.
