Skies the Limit Academy , a federal government contractor, has an exciting opportunity to work as a Lead Teacher (3 year old classroom) at the Brookhaven National Laboratory campus. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, position. The child care is located close to the LIE exit, off of William Floyd Pkwy, near Ridge, NY. The closest surrounding areas include Yaphank, Ridge, and Rocky Point.

Minimum Qualifications:

(1) Bachelors, Associates, or CDA in early childhood education or relevant field (2) Past performance at a licensed child care center (preferred) (3) Background checks required. Responsibilities will include : (1) Planning and executing a differentiated instruction and curriculum based on age group served. (2) Employing teaching methods and techniques proper for child-age group category served. (3) Ensuring program schedules and activities are responsive to needs, interests, and abilities of each child. (4) Role modeling communication and interaction skills for children, direct services personnel, parents, and support staff. (5) Role modeling child guidance techniques for direct services personnel, parents and support staff. Looking for a highly motivated individual who wants to make an impact in a child's life.
