Duties Supervise and ensure the safety of children during daily activities, playtime, meals, and rest periods Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills Provide attentive toddler care and preschooler care, tailoring activities to developmental stages Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences Maintain a clean, organized environment that encourages exploration and safety Apply behavior management techniques to support positive behavior and emotional regulation Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns regarding child safety or well-being Assist with basic first aid or CPR in case of emergencies, ensuring immediate response when needed Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet individual needs and fostering inclusive participation Collaborate with team members to develop engaging youth programs that promote childhood development Qualifications Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs preferred Valid certifications in first aid and CPR required; ongoing training encouraged Strong child supervision skills combined with activity planning expertise for young children Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Previous daycare experience or babysitting background highly valued Ability to manage behavior effectively while creating a positive environment for all children Embark on a rewarding career where your enthusiasm fuels children's growth!
