Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate team member to join our team. We are a Montessori-style daycare with a focus on individualized and nature-based play and learning. The ideal candidate will have a background in child caretaking and a genuine love for working with young children. This role requires the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. The staff will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curriculum and fostering a safe, inclusive atmosphere for all students. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children. Provide high-quality infant care, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in the daycare. Utilize behavior management techniques to guide children's behavior positively. Foster an inclusive environment for students with special needs or disabilities, adapting activities as necessary. Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's learning and development. Maintain a clean, organized facility that encourages exploration and learning. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development. Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages children to express themselves freely. You must be free from any criminal convictions or any indicated reports regarding Child Protective Services. We have a zero-tolerance policy for drugs. Experience Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is preferred. Strong skills in behavior management and the ability to educate young learners effectively. Experience in creating engaging activities that promote Montessori learning through play is essential. Excellent communication and teamwork required. CPR/First Aid certification is
