We are currently searching for a Lead Pre-K Teacher - ages 3 & 4 year olds Why LE3? Our teaching opportunities are unique and set us apart from other Early Childhood Centers, for example: Lead Pre-K Teachers have the creative freedom of classroom set-up Lead Pre-K Teachers have the creative freedom of curriculum LE3 Directors are accessible and constantly floating around the center! Above all else we strive to create an environment where the Lead Pre-K Teacher's main responsible is for creating a safe, age-appropriate, welcoming, and educational environment for our students.
Responsibilities:
Curriculum Expectations:
Lead Pre-K Teacher should have a schedule full of lessons to keep the day moving in an organized manner, and meet the social, emotional, and cognitive needs of their students.
Administrative Duties:
Daily communication with the parents should be taking place via our childcare app, and photos, along with daily health checks, feeding, and diapering schedules.
Hours:
all Lead Pre-K Teachers are required to be full-time, and there is minimal flexibility in the time of day the lead works as we follow an academic schedule:
Shift:
Monday-Friday 8am-4/5pm Outside hours: Lead Pre-K Teachers will be required to attend any open house events and/or meet the teacher nights - these events will be paid.
Qualifications:
Lead Pre-K Teachers must have the following education, experience, and certification requirements: A bachelor's degree in Education or related field OR enrolled in an education program that leads to a bachelor's degree with 9 credits in education completed One year of experience working in childcare, with children, and/or in an educational setting Customer service and/or previous work experiences
