We're hiring two Lead Teachers — one for Toddlers, one for Preschool — and we're ready to move fast. Apply today, interview this week, start as soon as you're able. The Barrington School of Grandview is a premier early learning center in Grandview Heights. Our chef prepares fresh, organic meals on-site every day. We strive to staff below Ohio's maximum ratios — because a calmer room means a teacher who still has energy at 3pm. That's not a perk we advertise; it's how we've built the school. What you'll actually be doing Leading your own classroom as the primary teacher, with an Assistant Teacher alongside you Planning and delivering daily lessons adapted to where each child actually is Observing and documenting development, and sharing it with families Building real relationships with parents — the daily two-minute conversation at pickup matters as much as the conference Mentoring your assistant teacher and backing up the team when a room needs a hand Keeping the room safe, clean, and licensing-ready without making it feel institutional Showing up reliably. Families plan their workday around you, and your co-teachers count on you. What we're looking for 1 to 2 years leading or co-leading a classroom in a licensed center Current or willing to obtain CPR/First Aid, Communicable Disease, and Child Abuse Recognition training — we cover the cost Able to pass Ohio BCI/FBI background checks and meet ODJFS medical requirements What we pay and provide $16
