Job Description

Job Summary Kids At Heart Preschool & Child Care Centers is seeking a passionate, dependable Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role is all about loving, nurturing, and caring for babies during their most important developmental stage. You'll create a safe, calm, and stimulating environment where infants feel secure, supported, and valued every day. While experience is helpful, the most important qualification is a genuine love for working with infants. Training and ongoing support are provided. Responsibilities Provide loving, responsive care to infants, including feeding, diapering, comforting, and engaging throughout the day Support infants' physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through age-appropriate activities Implement developmentally appropriate learning using Creative Curriculum (training provided) Observe and document developmental milestones and daily routines Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment Communicate regularly with families about daily activities, milestones, and progress Follow all Ohio child care licensing, health, and safety regulations Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support a positive team environment Requirements Experience working with infants (professional or relevant personal experience preferred) A calm, patient, and nurturing personality with a strong love for babies Ability to meet Ohio child care licensing requirements CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication and teamwork skills
CDA, ECE
