Responsibilities Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a stimulating and safe environment for children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers. Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques to promote respectful interactions. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support early intervention strategies when needed. Oversee classroom management tasks such as lesson planning, maintaining organized learning spaces, and adhering to health and safety standards. Support children's social-emotional growth by fostering a nurturing atmosphere that emphasizes child welfare and emotional well-being. Incorporate individualized plans to meet the needs of children requiring additional support or accommodations. Experience Prior experience working with young children in a preschool or child care setting is essential, with demonstrated classroom management skills. Strong background in early childhood education theories, childhood development milestones, and curriculum development. Proven ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy, math, large muscle activities Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and external specialists. Previous private school or daycare experience is preferred; certification in early childhood education or related fields is a plus.
