Job Description

We are seeking several additional teachers to join our organization! This individual will present age appropriate activities for children, following the Guided Creative Curriculum. Hiring for Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and School Age Teachers Floaters will be asked to fill in for whichever age group requires an additional teacher, with preference considered - flexible schedule May be asked to fill in for a staff member calling off Accepting applicants now
Responsibilities:
PRESCHOOL
Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
INFANT/TODDLER
Facilitate learning activities & engage with play for development
SCHOOL AGE
Initiate and encourage various activities for development & entertainment; follow schedule and activity plans during summer program Maintain a fun and safe learning environment Follow policies, schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, care, rest, and playtime Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents Maintain the health and safety of all students
Qualifications:
Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields (preferred, but not required) Passionate about working with children Willingness to adapt/be flexible in approach Ability to build rapport with children Positive and patient demeanor 18+ OR enrolled in ECE program/GED classes High school diploma/OR enrolled in Early Childhood Education (ECE) program (such as ATECH) OR enrolled in GED classes with intent to take the exam We will cover the cost of the GED exam if classes are taken Willingness to learn Background check required
Education:
Opportunities for continued education in the field of Early Childhood Education (ECE) are available through the Ohio Child Care Resource & Referral Association (OCCRRA), with potential for career growth Entry level (no experience & high school diploma/high school equivalency/enrolled in education program) Wage varies beyond entry level based on experience and relevant education
