Crayon Club is a nurturing and engaging early childhood education center dedicated to supporting the developmental needs of young children. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, inclusive environment where children feel safe, loved, and encouraged to explore and grow.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a loving and passionate Lead Teacher for our 3-4-year-old preschool classroom. The ideal candidate is energetic, nurturing, organized, and committed to early childhood education. This is a full-time position with planning, teaching, and classroom management responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive care in a safe and supportive environment for children Plan and implement fun and educational age-appropriate curriculum and activities Create and maintain a structured daily schedule for kids Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff Monitor and meet children's individual's needs and behaviors Assist with meat preparation, feeding, and changing when necessary Ensure a clean, organized and nurturing childcare space. Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans. Foster a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment. Collaborate with assistant teachers and staff to support children's learning and development. Maintain open communication with parents and caregivers. Observe and assess children's progress and maintain documentation. Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and school policies. Take training courses to be in compliance with the State.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/College degree Must be 18 years or older Must be reliable Must pass a background check Strong classroom management and communication skills. CPR/First Aid certification, Child Abuse, Communicable Disease (or willingness to obtain).
