Toddler Classroom Lead Teacher Classification:
Part Time Purpose of Role:
The Toddler Lead Teacher for Play Pals Daycare is passionate about providing a warm, safe and nurturing environment for children aged 18 months thru 2 years old to thrive. They ensure that children receive abundant attention as an extension of the care received from their primary caregivers.

Daycare Administrator Oversees:
Classroom Assistant Primary Responsibilities:
Provide supervision in a safe environment by maintaining an orderly and clean facility Select age-appropriate developmental materials for the classroom Implement provided curriculum in a manner that supports creativity and learning Oversee Toddler Classroom Assistant, providing training and development opportunities Follow Ohio state rules and regulations with regards to Toddler classroom operation Inform staff and parents of curriculum by posting schedules and daily activities Maintain open communication and a classroom newsletter, including sharing child's progress with parents
Additional Responsibilities:
File incident reports as needed Attend training and development opportunities
Skills and Attributes:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or other related field. CDA with 1+ years of experience within child care preferred Active First Aid and CPR certification

Love of working with children Strong observation skills and developed intuition Ability to maintain a clean and orderly area Abundance of patience and self control Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time with an ability to adapt as required Self-motivated with ability to supervise others Understanding of privacy and confidentiality Clear communication to children and adults, including conflict resolution skills
