Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of young children. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will inspire curiosity, foster independence, and support each child's unique growth journey. Duties Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management. Conduct child development assessments to monitor progress and tailor instruction to individual needs, including special education and early intervention strategies. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share updates on their child's development, behavior, and classroom activities. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including lesson planning, transitions, and maintaining a structured learning atmosphere. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies by accurately documenting incidents or concerns. Incorporate age-appropriate activities that promote physical activity, social skills, literacy education, and foundational academic concepts such as math and standardized testing preparation. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is required; classroom experience is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR is essential; ongoing training in child welfare and behavior management is a plus. Strong communication skills for effective parent communication and teamwork within the educational community. Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management techniques, and working with diverse student populations including toddlers or children requiring special education services. Familiarity with Montessori methods or experience teaching physical education enhances your candidacy.
