Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and experienced Degreed Lead Preschool Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment. In this vital role, you will lead classroom activities, develop innovative curricula, and collaborate with families to support each child's growth and development. Your expertise in early childhood education, combined with your leadership skills, will ensure that our preschool provides a safe, stimulating space where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Duties Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods Lead classroom activities that promote childhood development, behavior management, and social-emotional learning Develop curriculum tailored to diverse learning needs, including special education and early intervention strategies Manage classroom environment to ensure safety, cleanliness, and organization conducive to effective learning experiences Collaborate with families to communicate student progress, behavioral concerns, and developmental milestones Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and childcare staff to maintain high-quality classroom management and instructional practices Assess student progress through standardized testing and formative assessments; adjust teaching strategies accordingly Incorporate inclusive practices for toddlers care, preschool experience, and working with children of varying abilities Experience Proven classroom management experience in early childhood settings, including private schools or daycare environments Extensive background in curriculum development across multiple domains such as literacy education, math (including Montessori methods), and physical education Demonstrated success working with children of different ages, including toddlers and preschoolers Experience implementing behavior management techniques that support positive social interactions Familiarity with childhood development principles and best practices in early intervention strategies Strong communication skills for engaging with parents, colleagues, and community partners Prior involvement in teaching physical education or tutoring programs is a plus At least several years of classroom experience with a focus on preschool or early childhood education Join us in making a meaningful difference in children's lives by providing exceptional early childhood education rooted in compassion, innovation, and leadership. Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
