Job Description

Ginghamsburg Preschool and Childcare Center is GROWING and looking for Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers for Infant and Toddler-age classrooms!
Starting Pay:
$14/per hour with opportunities for higher pay based on experience.
Hours:
FT 7:00am-4:00pm, 8:00am-5:00pm, or 9:00am-6:00pm
Holidays:
11 Paid Holidays Ginghamsburg Preschool and Childcare center is looking for Infant and Toddler Teachers working with infants ages 6 weeks-18 months and toddlers ages 18 months-3 years.
Accountable To:
Center Director and Assistant Director Education & Experience:
Required:
High School Diploma 1-2 years of experience working with children.
Preferred:
Child Development Associates Certification (CDA), Associate's Degree or Higher in Early Childhood Education or Related Field Requirements include, but are not limited to , the following: Have the ability to establish and maintain warm, healthy connections and relationships with young children, Have the ability to meet individual needs for care, such as diapering, bottles/meals, naps, engagement, etc., Create and/or assist with implementing weekly lesson plans in correlation with the daily schedule, Have the ability to plan and implement methods of establishing a positive partnership with children and families, Have the ability to evaluate on an on-going basis the social/emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual developmental stages of an individual child, Understand an infant and/or toddler's social/emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual developmental needs, Have the ability to establish and maintain positive, professional relationships and communication with co-staff, families, and administration, Teacher In-service trainings, First Aid and CPR/AED Training, Communicable Disease and Child Abuse Recognition Classes, 10 hours of State-required classes annually This position requires a high level of physical labor including but not limited to: Employee should be able to lift and hold up to 50 lbs. Employee should be able to sit on the floor with children for prolonged periods of time. Employee should be able to bend and reach from floor to waist several times throughout the day. Employee should be able to crawl around on the floor and interact with the children in their space.

From $14.00 per hour
