This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position with consistent daytime hours and no nights or weekends . This position is a great fit for someone who loves working with children, takes safety seriously, and is meticulous about following procedures and routines. It could also be perfect for a stay-at-home mom who is ready to return to the workforce now that the kids are back in school! Schedule Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-4:00 PM What You'll Do Work with our school-age children before and after school Safely drive children to and from school in Playtime (+) vans Follow all transportation, attendance, safety, and child supervision procedures carefully and consistently Conduct required vehicle and child safety checks Help in classrooms between transportation routes Provide breaks and coverage for classroom teachers as needed Assist with cleaning and maintaining the facility during downtime Help create a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for our children Schools We Transport To Our current transportation routes include: Country Lane Elementary Creekwood Elementary Rhoades Elementary Timber Ridge Elementary Park Lane ECC Creekwood ECC Requirements Applicants must: Be at least 21 years old Have a valid driver's license and good driving record Be a safe, responsible, and confident driver Enjoy working with children and be able to interact with them patiently and positively Take child and transportation safety extremely seriously Be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Be meticulous about following policies and procedures —especially transportation, supervision, and safety procedures Be willing to help wherever needed throughout the day Be able to pass a nationwide fingerprint background check Because this position involves transporting children, we are looking for someone who understands that safety, accountability, and following procedures every single time are non-negotiable.
