Your will help shape a positive foundation for each child's growth, ensuring they thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on lives of young children while working within a collaborative team committed to excellence in preschool education. Responsibilities Design and implement dynamic, developmentally appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards and incorporate curriculum development best practices. Lead daily classroom activities that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning tailored to preschool-aged children. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies, creating a safe and respectful environment for all students. Collaborate with colleagues to develop individualized plans for children requiring special education or early intervention services, ensuring inclusive learning experiences. Oversee classroom management duties such as maintaining organized learning spaces, tracking student progress through assessments and standardized testing, and documenting developmental milestones. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental needs to foster strong home-school partnerships. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or teaching aides, providing guidance on lesson planning, classroom management, and child welfare practices. Requirements 1-2 years or more in an Early Childhood Education setting Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, and curriculum development for toddlers and preschoolers. Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms effectively. Hold a a
CECPD PDL
of 3 or higher. Must be 18 years or older.
