Full-time (30-40 hours per week) About the Role Greenbrier Learning Academy is seeking qualified Master / LeadTeachers. We are a 4 STAR licensed childcare program in Catoosa, OK. The Master Teacher plays a key leadership role in the classroom, supports teaching staff, and ensures compliance with Oklahoma DHS licensing requirements. This is a hands-on teaching position with added responsibility for quality and curriculum support. The teacher could be leading an age group anywhere between 6 months-12 years of age, this will be discussed at the time of hire. Key Responsibilities Provide direct care and supervision to children in a safe, nurturing environment Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities Arrange and maintain an organized, engaging classroom environment Support teachers and assistant teachers with daily routines and classroom practices Communicate professionally with families and contribute to parent engagement Participate in program planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement Maintain accurate documentation and follow all DHS rules Assist with new staff guidance and classroom consistency Be on-site Requirements Must be 18 years or older High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Current Oklahoma Professional Development Ladder (OPDL) Level 4 or higher Must pass all required background checks CPR/First Aid certification (must be obtained within DHS timelines) Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and actively supervise children Strong communication, organization, and classroom leadership skills Experience working with young children in a licensed childcare setting Probationary applicants actively working toward OPDL Level 4 may be considered under DHS guidelines. Preferred Qualifications CDA or Certificate of Mastery (Employer will pay CDA•) Experience leading classrooms or mentoring staff Knowledge of Oklahoma DHS licensing standards Strong curriculum and behavior management skills What This Opportunity Offers Consistent full-time schedule (30-40 hours/week) Opportunity to lead and support classroom teams Stable environment with administrative support Growth potential within an early childhood setting How to Apply Apply directly through Indeed.
