Job Description

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Teacher creates a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment with daily routines, activities, and child supervision. You will ensure the well-being of each child while promoting positive behavior, maintaining classroom organization, and complying with licensing and safety standards.
Primary Tasks:
Help implement daily lesson plans and classroom activities. Guide and supervise children in daily routines and play. Help in keeping the classroom clean, safe, and organized. Support children during meals, toileting, and rest time. Help prepare materials for class and set up learning areas. Maintain records such as attendance and meal counts. Follow safety and licensing rules. Attend staff meetings and required trainings. Encourage positive behavior, help manage group activities, and communicate positively with children, families, and staff. Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
