Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will help shape the foundation for lifelong learning. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in infants Provide attentive toddler care by monitoring health, safety, and well-being throughout the day Manage classroom routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and activity transitions with compassion and efficiency Engage children in activities that support early literacy education and motor skill development Utilize behavior management techniques to encourage positive interactions and emotional regulation Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and support each child's individual needs Maintain accurate records of daily activities, developmental milestones, and classroom observations Incorporate principles of Montessori and other educational philosophies to foster independent learning and curiosity Requirements • CDA certification, equivalent college credits, or other state credential as an approved child care provider (i.e., state certified) Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly desirable Knowledge of childhood development stages and early intervention strategies Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and standardized testing methods for early learners Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members Ability to work actively on your feet for extended periods while maintaining a lively and positive attitude Commitment to child welfare standards and best practices in childcare and toddler care environments This position is an excellent opportunity for dedicated educators passionate about fostering growth during the earliest stages of childhood. Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
