Daycare Assistant Director Curriculum Coordinator Granny & Dot's Early Childhood Development Center - Owasso, OK Full-Time | Hiring Immediately About Us Granny & Dot's Early Childhood Development Center is dedicated to providing a nurturing, faith-based environment where children grow through hands-on learning, character development, and meaningful experiences. Our team is passionate about excellence in early education and supporting families in our community. Position Overview We are seeking a queen of coordination—a confident, decisive leader who excels in organization, leads with integrity, and holds staff accountable while still inspiring and encouraging those around them—to fill our Assistant Director / Curriculum Coordinator role and join our leadership team. This position works in close partnership with the Director, sharing rotating shifts to ensure consistent, visible leadership across the center. The Assistant Director will support daily operations, set clear expectations, provide direct feedback , mentor teachers, and oversee curriculum implementation to ensure staff performance aligns with our policies, standards, and the high-quality care our families expect. Key Responsibilities Assist in overall center operations, ensuring compliance with licensing and accreditation standards. Support and supervise staff to foster a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment. Coordinate and oversee curriculum implementation across all classrooms, ensuring alignment with early learning guidelines and center values and supervising Team Leads. Order curriculum supplies and office inventory. Lead & supervise new hire training and on-boarding. Write and distribute the monthly family newsletter. Coordinate staff CPR training classes. Answer phones, greet families, and assist with front desk responsibilities. Provide training, coaching, and professional development to staff. Partner with families to ensure strong communication and support for children's development. Step into the Director role as needed during rotating shifts, including handling scheduling, staff coverage, and center closing duties. And many other items. Qualifications Certificate of Master or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of curriculum development and early learning standards. Positive, uplifting, and able to serve as a "cheerleader" for staff and families. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to work a flexible, rotating schedule with the Director.
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
