Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills aligned with early childhood education standards Foster a positive classroom environment through effective behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques Engage children in hands-on activities that stimulate curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking Incorporate Early Learning Guidelines methods and other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences Monitor and assess each child's progress using regular observations Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to ensure holistic child welfare and consistent educational support Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages independence and exploration Conduct regular communication with families about developmental milestones, behavioral concerns, and classroom activities Participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, literacy education, and classroom management Requirements Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom or daycare setting Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early education techniques Familiarity with curriculum development, ELG lesson planning Experience with toilet training for young Threes. Experience age-level classroom and behavior management strategies Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom environment efficiently while fostering individual growth CDA or Certificate of Mastery in early childhood education or a related field is preferred; Knowledge of Toddler to age 3 and 4 care practices and teaching activities suitable for young children Must be passionate about working with young children and families. Dedicated professional who is reliable and responsible. Must be able to manage the physical requirements of the ECE field: bending, lifting, squatting, floor-to-stand, walking, playground, and large motor activities Has fun and loves working with young children!
