Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the developmental and emotional needs of children in our care environment. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing space for children of various ages, from infants to preschoolers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, experience with children, and a genuine passion for caregiving. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while working in a supportive team setting. Duties Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure safety and engagement Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage social skills and cooperation Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and needs Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment compliant with health and safety standards Support children with special needs or disabilities as required Use first aid skills when necessary to address minor injuries or health concerns Collaborate with team members to develop individualized care plans for children requiring additional support Skills Experience with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying Knowledge of childhood development stages and appropriate activities for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Strong classroom experience or early childhood education background Ability to manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement techniques First aid certification and CPR training preferred Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members Patience, compassion, and a nurturing attitude essential for fostering trust and security in children Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports diversity and individual needs This role is vital in supporting children's growth while providing peace of mind to families. We seek caring professionals committed to nurturing childhood development through attentive caregiving and engaging educational activities.
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
