About us Growing Tree Children's Center believes each child has a unique and individual potential and deserves the opportunity to develop this potential. The Growing Tree helps children experience childhood as it is meant to be, in a loving, safe, and nurturing environment with joy and discovery intact. Early Childhood Education Teacher Growing Tree Children's Center is hiring a preschool teacher for our program.
Applicant should have:

Bachelors Degree, Associate's Degree, or a one year state or nationally recognized credential in
Early Childhood Education Acceptable:
20 college credits and one (1) year of teaching experience or two (2) years teaching experience in a Certified Childcare Center or comparable program Registered in the Central Background Registry. Enrolled in the Oregon Registry at a "Step 8" or higher or an educational plan approved by the Director to meet this requirement Current CPR/First Aid Training Current Food Handler's Card Completed a Child Abuse and Neglect Training Completed Child Health and Safety Training Ability to relate well with parents and other adults Ability to work positively and constructively with children Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for different age groups, as well as the ability to meet the individual needs of children using practical knowledge Ability to supervise staff of varying educational and experience backgrounds Evidence of emotional maturity and stability with sufficient judgment to handle crisis situations Willingness to accept directions and guidance from supervisor Dependable and timely Ability to contribute positively to the general atmosphere of the center' 'Work remotely
No Responsibilities:
Implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Foster a nurturing and safe learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive and productive learning atmosphere. Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on children's progress and well-being. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and incorporate best practices in early childhood education.

$18.00 - $27.00 per hour
