In this role, you will lead classroom activities, develop engaging curriculum, and foster a nurturing environment that promotes the holistic development of toddlers. Your caring and energetic approach will inspire young learners, support their social-emotional growth, and lay a strong foundation for their future learning journeys. As a leader in our preschool community, you will collaborate with the Director, communicate effectively with families, and ensure that every child feels safe, valued, and excited to explore the world around them. Duties Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and curriculum frameworks Lead classroom activities that promote literacy education, math skills, physical development, and social-emotional learning Utilize learning technology and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track student progress and tailor instruction to individual needs Manage classroom behavior through effective conflict management and behavior management strategies Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and collaborating with specialists in special education Oversee classroom setup, ensuring a safe, organized, and stimulating environment conducive to toddler care and Montessori principles if applicable Communicate regularly with families regarding their child's progress, milestones, and any behavioral or developmental concerns Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental assessments, and curriculum documentation Participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, instructional design, early childhood education best practices, and teaching physical education Requirements Proven classroom experience working with toddlers in preschool or childcare settings (Preferred) Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and early childhood education methodologies such as Montessori or preschool approaches Some experience in curriculum development tailored for early learners, including literacy education, math instruction, and physical activity programs preferred Familiarity with LMS platforms for tracking student progress and instructional planning Ability to adapt lessons for children with disabilities or special needs through inclusive teaching strategies Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children and parents Knowledge of library services or instructional resources to enrich learning experiences is desirable Join us as a Lead Toddler Teacher where your enthusiasm fuels young minds!
