Our school is committed to providing a nurturing, Christ-centered environment where children can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. We also offer Eagle's Nest, a flexible childcare program designed for preschool families who need care beyond regular preschool hours. Eagle's Nest provides children with an extended preschool experience in a safe, engaging, and caring environment. Responsibilities Plan and lead age-appropriate classroom activities and lessons Foster a positive, nurturing, and Christ-centered classroom environment Support children's academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development Maintain a safe and organized classroom Communicate effectively with parents and staff Work collaboratively with co-workers and administration Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, and transitions Follow all school policies and state licensing requirements Continue professional growth and training opportunities Minimum Qualifications ( Applicants must meet one of the following qualifications:) 30 quarter credits from a college or university in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or Special Education OR One year of teaching experience in a state-licensed preschool OR 15 quarter credits from a college or university and 6 months of experience working in a state-licensed preschool Required Certifications & Requirements The following must be obtained within 30 days of employment: Criminal Registry & Background Check (ORO) Current First Aid & CPR Certification Food Handler's Card Child Abuse and Neglect Training Certificate We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with children and excited to be part of a Christ-centered educational community.
